Emalee is a hair stylist!

So Emalee decided to give herself a little haircut. I kept looking at her and couldn't figure out what was different, until finally I noticed her cute hairdo. All that she had to say was, "doesn't it look pretty Mom." Oh yes, it is definantly lovely. So we had to take her to get it fixed, and it had to be cut pretty short. She doesn't like it, all I have to say is, "don't cut your hair again then". Hopefully she will listen.

She did a wonderful job on her bangs and the right side of her head.
I have to admit that it does look pretty cute!

Happy Birthday Blondie!

Happy Birthday Emalee!! It is amazing how fast time goes by, I can't believe you are 4 years old already. You are a very special little girl and we are lucky to have you as part of our family. Thanks for being so sweet and funny. We love you!

Emalee has 17 candles on her cake because she shares a birthday with her cousin Cole, who is turning 13 ( I can't believe that either). He is on the other side, I guess we didn't get him in the picture.

Happy Birthday Tyler!!!!

It was Tyler's Birthday on the 18th. I can't believe that he is 11 years old. He will be in middle school next year, that is crazy. We went bowling on Saturday night with Grandma and Grandpa Petersen, and we took Caden and Jaxon. Tyler decided that real bowling wasn't as easy as on the Wii. We had alot of fun though. Sunday we had cake and ice cream with Grandma and Grandpa P. and Aunt Ann and Uncle Delyle. Tyler got $45, a scooter and rockband(which did not arrive on time). Hope you had a Happy Birthday Tyler. We love you and are so glad you are part of our family.

Weekend of Fun!

We had an Atkinson family party on New Years day in Lehi. After that we went and stayed with Trent and Marsha (Barry's brother and sister-in-law) in Salt Lake. We spent three nights there, I'm sure they were glad to see us go! Barry and Trent went snowmobiling one and a half times. I say that, because the second time, Barry's snowmobile broke down after about a half hour of riding, I don't think they had very much fun that time. Me and Marsha got to go shopping (without the kids) which was alot of fun. Marsha is a hairdresser with a beauty shop in her house. My girls talked her into doing their hair. Ashlee finally got the perm that she has been begging for, she can do her own hair now(yeah)! They all looked really cute, but I forgot to get a picture of Ashlee after her hair was done. Tyler played the Wii with his cousins all weekend and Jace followed me around whining the whole time. He does alot better at home. But all-in-all it was a really fun weekend.
