Family Pictures

We finally went and got family pictures. We went to Lehi and it was soooooooo cold. Jace and Emmie were both crying before it was all over. I am surprised we got any good shots. But I think the picture of the kids turned out cute even if Jace wouldn't take off his hood :)

Melting Snowmen!!

So I decided that I should try and do some fun things with my kids while they are on Christmas vacation for 2 WHOLE WEEKS!! I saw these cute snowmen on a website and decided to try them. Poor Jace was taking a nap and the kids couldn't wait so we did them without him, but I did make one for him. I thought they turned out really cute and the kids had fun with them.

Happy Halloween!!

It seemed like to took forever to get the kids ready for halloween this year. Tyler was Gene Simmons....and it took forever to paint his face but I have to admit he did look pretty cool. Ashlee was a gogo dancer. Kaitlyn was a witch at school and a princess on halloween. Emalee was a snow queen and Jace was a rodeo clown. Jace cried huge crocodile tears as soon as I tried to paint his face so he does not look as cute as he could have, but oh well. We had fun trick-or-treating!

Sister's Day!

Me and Kim got to go see Haley and her new baby in St. George. They named her Charlie Jane and I just love it.....I think it is the cutest name ever. We went shopping, ate at the Olive Garden and hung out. What else could better than spending time with your sisters, good food and shopping.

Labor Day Campout!

We went camping over Labor Day weekend for 5 days. I was worried about how long it was going to be but we really had alot of fun and it went by fast. We went with Barry's family to Kamas. We ate alot, played games, went for walks and rode 4-wheelers. Sorry that there are no pictures of me cause I am always way cute when I am camping, hehe.

Jace is 2!

I can't believe that Jace is already 2......how time flies! We went to the rez. and played for his birthday. Jace loves to play at the rez., just not in the water.....which is fine with me because he is easier to watch. Grandpa Mark and Grandma Jane gave him a bike for his birthday and he loved it. It is so funny to watch him on it, he can't reach the pedals yet but he is still a goer. Jace is such a fun little guy who always has a smile on his face. We are so lucky that he is part of our family and we are sure enjoying him. Happy Birthday little guy!

Ashlee's 9th Birthday!!!!

So this is what an awfuln Mom I am......I forgot to take the camera to Ashlee's Birthday. We had the video camera and at least I caught some action with that. We went to the rez. and took the boat with the Petersen clan. We had our boats and we had a bbq. It was alot of fun. Ashlee got a new bike, jewlery, clothes and nail polish. Ashlee is a very good helper....even when she doesn't want to be. She helps us alot with her little brother Jace. We love her alot and want her to know how proud we are of her. Here is a picture of her doing her favorite thing in the world!

Family Fun!!

We had our family campout last weekend, but we camped at home instead of leaving. Dad was having hay troubles, so we couldn't leave town. We spent Friday at the rez......we played on the beach, boated, wakeboarded, ate, tubed and Caden got a broken pinky toe.....it was so sad. Then we went back later that night and had a fire and roasted marshmallows. Saturday we went up to Oak City and had dinner and played around on the four-wheelers. I forgot my camera when we went to the canyon, so I didn't get any pictures of that. We had alot of fun, I am so glad that we all got to get together and have a good time....we don't get to do it often enough. It was fun to see Ji, Haley and Ellie too!

7 years old!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Katie!!!! I had to put a baby picture on.....because she was such a cute baby (no, it is not just because I am her mom). It is amazing how time flies, Katie is already 7 years old. She asked me if she could have a jalapeno for her birthday.......a what? I thought about it for a minute and I was like, oh, a pinata. I could not stop laughing. So Walker and Meg came over to help bust the pinata. We love you Katie and hope you had a great birthday.

We went to Yuba for a couple of days with Randy and Becca. There was lots and lots of wind while we were there, so we all had sand everywhere. We had fun, but it would of been nicer if the weather would have cooperated. I don't have any pictures of Ashlee, cause she wouldn't let me take any.

Jace got his 1st haircut. He was not very happy about it at all, but he definately needed one. I can't believe that he is almost 2 and this is his 1st haircut...he has got some slow growin' hair.

Em's broken leg!

So Emalee went and got a broken leg. She was outside playing on the trampoline with Ashlee and fell and hit her leg on the slide that was going down from the trampoline. I still am not sure how it happened, but I guess it doesn't matter. She has been pretty big about it, but I can't wait until she can walk around by herself. It is pretty hard to keep up with her and Jace.

Emalee is a hair stylist!

So Emalee decided to give herself a little haircut. I kept looking at her and couldn't figure out what was different, until finally I noticed her cute hairdo. All that she had to say was, "doesn't it look pretty Mom." Oh yes, it is definantly lovely. So we had to take her to get it fixed, and it had to be cut pretty short. She doesn't like it, all I have to say is, "don't cut your hair again then". Hopefully she will listen.

Happy Birthday Blondie!

Happy Birthday Emalee!! It is amazing how fast time goes by, I can't believe you are 4 years old already. You are a very special little girl and we are lucky to have you as part of our family. Thanks for being so sweet and funny. We love you!

Emalee has 17 candles on her cake because she shares a birthday with her cousin Cole, who is turning 13 ( I can't believe that either). He is on the other side, I guess we didn't get him in the picture.

Happy Birthday Tyler!!!!

It was Tyler's Birthday on the 18th. I can't believe that he is 11 years old. He will be in middle school next year, that is crazy. We went bowling on Saturday night with Grandma and Grandpa Petersen, and we took Caden and Jaxon. Tyler decided that real bowling wasn't as easy as on the Wii. We had alot of fun though. Sunday we had cake and ice cream with Grandma and Grandpa P. and Aunt Ann and Uncle Delyle. Tyler got $45, a scooter and rockband(which did not arrive on time). Hope you had a Happy Birthday Tyler. We love you and are so glad you are part of our family.
